So long January

Let's just say that it has seemed like a really long month, having now had abdominal surgery which was not what was anticipated and can finally relax knowing not dealing with anything cancerous.   Will appreciate getting back to normal  :-)

A welcome break while recuperating....some of the ladies coffee gang came out for a visit!

January activities

We have been taking it easy these first couple weeks of January.  There is less than usual snow so we have gone for a few walks, and continued to square dance and do yoga............

Welcoming in the year of 2012 with a blog of Barry & Cindy Lipscombe's life.
Looking forward to many changes and much enjoyment as Barry retires this spring :-)

The day started out well with snowshoeing with Larry, Barb & Lisa Hanlon, and Jim & Ellen Robinson out at Hall Siding tracks towards Ymir.

Following this we went to Gordon & Lorraine Fleming's annual square dance open house.

We should have been have been arriving in Yuma to make use of our newer park model at Westwind RV Park for January.

However I have abdominal discomfort that requires surgery midmonth at the very least, so plans have changed.
